Located in scenic Stonington, Lord’s Point is a cozy private shoreline village that was established in 1909. With just over 200 coastal houses, and summer cottages … Lord’s Point has an average summer population of about 800 people. Houses are comfortably tucked into this small coastal community, and regardless of whether the house is situated on a direct waterfront lot … almost all homes have excellent water views!
Lord’s Point is not very large … only 12 short roads traverse the village, but there are six lovely beaches to enjoy! Open Way, Tim’s Beach, Boulder Beach, Hopkins Beach, Pebble Beach & Tressel Beach. There are also two docks: Boulder and Langworthy. Access is limited to Lord’s Point residents and guests only, and are not available for the public.
Community facilities include a bocce area, tennis and basketball courts, a soccer field and clubhouse. The ‘Community House’, as it’s commonly known, is available for rent for private parties or functions, and also hosts bingo nights in the summer, teen parties, scheduled exercise classes, and an annual Talent Show. The Lords Point Association maintains the beaches, moorings, dock and recreation grounds. Home owners enjoy spectacular sunsets, excellent waterviews, and the privacy of a small, established seaside community!
